## How it works

Per visit = the sum of the ticked services. This period = per visit × visits in the billing period, listed as one line per service. Materials and haul-away are added as flat lines. Season at this pace = this period × the months in the season. Total = services + materials + haul-away + tax on the materials.

**Season total at different visit counts per month ($55 per visit, 7 months)**

| Visits per month | Per month | Season |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 1 | $55.00 | $385.00 |
| 2 | $110.00 | $770.00 |
| 4 | $220.00 | $1,540.00 |
| 5 | $275.00 | $1,925.00 |

**Services lawn and landscape crews usually price per visit**

| Service | Typical way to price it |
| --- | --- |
| Mowing and edging | By lawn size, per visit |
| Hedge and shrub trimming | By the hour or by the plant |
| Bed weeding and mulching | By bed size, with mulch priced as a material |
| Leaf cleanup | Per visit in autumn, by property size |
| Fertilizing and weed control | Per application, a few times a year |
| Haul-away | A flat fee, or by the load |

## Worked example: four weekly mows with mulch

1. Per visit: mow and edge $45 + blow off walks $10 = $55.00.
2. This period: $55.00 × 4 visits = $220.00.
3. Mulch and soil: $85.00 (taxable). Tax at 8% = $6.80.
4. Invoice total: $311.80.
5. Season at this pace over 7 months: $1,540.00 for the mowing services.
