# Cleaning Service Invoice Template

> Choose how often the home is cleaned, then price it by size: a base price plus bedrooms and bathrooms. Tick add-on tasks such as the oven or fridge. Repeat visits get the discount you set, and the page shows the price per visit and per month.

## How it works

Per visit = base price + bedrooms × price per bedroom + bathrooms × price per bathroom + the ticked add-ons. For a repeating schedule, every price is reduced by the repeat discount percent. Per month = per visit × visits per month: weekly 4, every 2 weeks 2, monthly 1. A one-time clean has no discount.

**Per-visit price at different schedules (before add-ons, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms)**

| Schedule | Discount | Per visit | Per month |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| One-time | 0% | $200.00 | n/a |
| Monthly | 5% | $190.00 | $190.00 |
| Every 2 weeks | 10% | $180.00 | $360.00 |
| Weekly | 15% | $170.00 | $680.00 |

**Add-on tasks cleaners often price separately**

| Add-on | Why it is extra |
| --- | --- |
| Inside oven | Needs time and a special cleaner |
| Inside fridge | The fridge has to be emptied first |
| Interior windows | Priced by the number of windows |
| Laundry | Wash, dry and fold takes extra time at the home |
| Pet hair or heavy build-up | Slows the clean, so many companies add a fee |

## Worked example: a 3-bed, 2-bath home every 2 weeks with the oven

1. Base $80, each bedroom $20, each bathroom $30, oven $35, all reduced by the 10% repeat discount.
2. Base $72.00 + 3 bedrooms × $18.00 = $54.00 + 2 bathrooms × $27.00 = $54.00.
3. Oven add-on: $31.50.
4. Per visit: $211.50.
5. Two visits a month: $423.00.

## FAQ

### How do cleaning companies price a home?
Common ways are by the hour, by square footage, or by rooms. This page uses a base price plus bedrooms and bathrooms, with add-ons, because customers understand it at a glance.

### Should repeat customers get a discount?
Many companies give one, because regular visits are quicker and keep the schedule full. Pick the schedule and edit the percent. It is applied to every line of the visit.

### What is a fair price for add-on tasks?
Price the time the task takes, plus any supplies. Oven and fridge cleaning are the usual ones. Use your own prices: the add-on chips accept any amount.

### Do I charge tax on cleaning?
It depends where you work. Some places tax cleaning services and others do not. The tax box is below the items, so set a rate only if it applies to you.

### How do I bill a customer who pays monthly?
Use the per-month number shown on the page, and describe the visits in the notes. Make one invoice per month, with the dates of the visits listed.

### What should a cleaning invoice say about missed spots?
A short line in the notes, such as a promise to return within 24 hours, builds trust and stops small complaints becoming refund requests.
